A Hands-on Workshop on Developing a Knowledge & Data Management System (KDMS) in Schools

Digital transformation begins with the culture of data appreciation, management and analytics in your school. These are possible with the development of a knowledge and data management system (KDMS). If you have wanted to learn how to develop a structured DMS for your school, this course is for you. You do not need to be IT savvy to benefit from this workshop.

The Course equips the participants with the knowledge and knowhow to develop a Data Management System using Microsoft Excel application in your School. It builds on the concepts learned in Workshop C-1: Knowledge & Data Management for Schools – What, Why and How. You will design and build the data dictionary and database repository to support your School Strategic Plan. Participants will learn and discuss the processes to identify, clean, validate and load these data into the data repository. Macro in MS Excel will be highlighted to automate your data management system. Participants will also learn how to design processes, create useful reports and dashboards for systematic assessment and review. Armed with a set of templates participants will be able to develop a data management system in your schools.

WORKSHOP FEE

The 1-day Training Workshop will be from 9am to 5pm.

 

Venue for the training at a convenient location will be advised at a later date.

 

The Workshop fee includes Training material and two refreshments per day.

Lunch is not included.
